    In honor of this special week, an event will take place each day. On Monday, Book of the Day: Fox in Sox; Crazy Socks Day. On Tuesday, Book of the Day: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish; Red or Blue Day. On Wednesday, Book of the Day: Wacky Wednesday; "Wackiest Tackiest" Clothes Day.On Thursday, Book of the Day: Oh the Places You Will Go; When I Grow Up, I'm Going to Be...Day.   • JUMP ROPE FOR HEART

    James Elementary will be participating in Jump Rope Initiative. Jump Rope for Heart teaches students how to take care of their hearts while experiencing the joy of giving back to their community.

    There will be another Kindergarten Roundup on March 13, 2015, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. This will be a great opportunity to find out information about Kindergarten, meet the teachers and enroll children for Fall classes.

  • ATTENDANCE CELEBRATIONS

    We are seeing great improvement in attendance! Thank you for getting your children to school! Rewards for good attendance: Monthly Drawings: 100% attendance for the month: 2-$25.00 gift cards. 95% attendance for the month 2-$10.00 gift cards. End of month celebration for March - Balloon Animals and/or movie and popcorn. Class Awards - The class with the best attendance for the week/month and highest number of students with 95% attendance or better will earn a celebration.

    MAD SCIENTIST VISITS JAMES

    James Elementary was visited by Jetpack Jason from Mad Science on February 18. The fourth and fifth grade students participated in completing experiments the fun way.

    Students earned a little fun for being a PBIS Manager. They were allowed to go to the gym and participate in a snowball fight. A good time was had by all.
