  • Back to School Night was a big Success!

    Students, parents and teachers all had a great time at our beginning of school celebration. LINC assisted with making it a successful night by providing dinner, popcorn, bouncy castle, and a community resource booth.

  • Martha Speaks

    Melcher's 4th grade and 2nd grade students team up to do reading and vocabulary activities together. Martha is a talking dog. She eats alphabet soup and the letters go to her brain then she begins speaking. See inside story for more information on the Martha Speaks program.

    This month students were awarded a field trip to Old Country Buffett in Independence, where they especially enjoyed the ice cream. Pictured are students and volunteers at the ice cream machine.
