Imagine Learning is an interactive computer program designed to help English Language Learners improve their skills in the areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking. This program is unique in that it offers support in the student's native language* during the initial period of learning and then, as the students English abilities increase, the level of native language support decreases. This program is available in most of the elementary schools that have a large ELL population and is also available at East High School for the New Americans.
*native language support is available in several of the languages spoken by our students, but not all languages.
Rosetta Stone is an interactive computer program designed to teach students another language. Our ELL students are learning English with this program and are able to practice their skills in the areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking.
