Mr. Bolden came to Kansas City from Waco Texas 36 years ago. He graduated from Prairie View A &M University and earned his Master's degree from Emporia State University.  Mr. Bolden started his career at Harmon High School as a teacher, coach and Assistant Principal. He was Principal at Northwest Middle School for three years then at F.L. Schlagle for 13 years. After 33 years of service to the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools he retired and began a second career in the Kansas City Public Schools. He was a Principal at Manual and Southwest High School before coming to Northeast.

Some of his accomplishments are: being selected as Employee of the Month for the KCKS School District, President of the Kansas City Atchison League, representative for the Kansas State High School Activities Association, recipient of the Gladys Burks' NAACP Award for service in education leadership, twice awarded the Friends of the Family Award for his exceptional community leadership and during his tenure at Schlagle, the school received  an award from KCTV-5 for being one of the safest school in the metro area.

Of all of his past accomplishments, none have been more satisfying than being the proud father of his three children, a supportive and loving husband to his wife Dimple; being a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church for the last 25 years and of course being the extremely proud Principal of Northeast High School.

Mr. Bolden is ready to take on the challenges of Northeast and help plan and develop the future vision/mission of the the Viking Nation. Go Vikings!
