Science ClubThe Science Club is open to the older students interested in science. Children learn science through exciting hands-on activities. The science team competes in the spring at the annual Greater Kansas City Science and Engineering Fair at Union Station.
Invitation-only Clubs Students are carefully selected – and invited – to join special-interest clubs…Principal’s Roundtable, Hartman’s GEMS (girls), Hartman’s GENTS (boys), Book Club, Newspaper.Clubs are designed to offer our students something extra – above-and-beyond – daily academics.Clubs hold a great deal of status and all students strive to receive that special invitation to join.
Kiwanis Terrific KidsAn assembly is held to provide recognition of students who demonstrate a positive attitude, good character, and responsible citizenship.

VolunteersWatershed, Country Club Christian Church, and YouthFriends have been generous with the gift of time. The volunteers come to the school on a weekly bases to work with the students.

LINCThe LINC Caring Communities Before and After School Child Care program provides high quality school-age care for all families in a safe, fun and caring enviroment that supports children's social, emotional, and physical development.

Honor's Choir The Honor's Choir is led by Lester Morris. The choir has 35 students. Students had to meet the following requirements: attitude, attendance, and achievement.
