Satchel Paige Elementary School

The Satchel Paige school community promotes student attendance, academic achievement, and collaborative relationships with local stakeholders through joint efforts with community organizations such as the Kansas City Parks & Recreation Department.

We create a caring, safe environment for students through implementation of the Positive Behavior Support (PBS) model throughout the school in conjunction with an interventionist who supervises a recovery room for students needing behavioral redirection and support so they can return to their classrooms and experience academic success as soon as possible.
