The Kansas City Public Schools is in the midst of a transformation to revolutionize how students are taught and learn in our community. Over the course of the 2010-2011 school year, the administration completed a right-sizing initiative and the first phase of KCPS' Transformation. While Phase I focused on operational issues, Phase II was launched during the 2011-2012 school year to better steer the school system toward activities that support its core mission of graduating students that are college, career, and workforce ready.
The complete texts of both phases of the plan may be viewed below. In addition, you are now able to view scorecards on the implementation of both Phase I and Phase II by simply clicking the appropriate link in the gray area to the right.
