  • Ride Your Bike to School Day

    Approximately 55 James students paricipated in the Ride Your Bike to School Day. The students received training on bike safety.

  • Saving Our Environment

    Employees from Graphic Packaging spoke to grades 3rd through 6th on ways we can protect the environment. They spoke of the packaging of products, the recycling of trees, paper, plastic and other safe measures to protect the environment. The students were given a tree to plant at home.

  • James Recieves a Tree Donation

    James Elem. received a donation of a 6 ft. tree from Mr. Emmanuel Cooper of the Euphrates Gallery in recognition of Arbor Day. A planting ceremony was held in front of the school.

  • James School Is Recognized As High Progress Award School

    The State of Missouri's Title One Program has recognized James School as a High Progress Award School. James was one of three schools in the state who have demonstrated most pronounced increase in Language Arts and Math over the past three years. Congratulations to the students and staff !

  • James School Home of the HOOT LOOTS

    James School sponsors the HOOT LOOT Awards Program for deserving students who make great citizenship choices at school. Every week two students from each classroom are awarded a prize.
