About Our School

Primitivo Garcia Elementary School is a school located at 1000 W.17th street. The school day begins at 8:10am and ends at 3:25pm. Doors are open for breakfast at 7:40am. Early release days (half-days), dismissal is at 11:40 am.

Principal's Bio

Having spent of the best years in his life at elementary schools in California, Colorado, and Oklahoma, Dr. Joe Marlow is proud to be principal of Primitivo Garcia Elementary School. He enjoys assisting his students with being successful in the classroom so they can be successful in life. Dr. Marlow has been married 41 years, has two adult children, and two grandchildren, one of whom is a first grader. In his free time, he enjoys reading history, cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners, and activities with his family. Dr. Marlow is also a published poet, and has eaten at the world’s two largest McDonald's.
