King Fun Day

Congratulations to the 67 students nominated for membership in the
 2012-13 CFES Program at King Elementary!!!
 
The students celebrated their induction into the program on September 14th with a Pizza Party Kick-Off. 
We are very proud of our students and are excited for the new year.   

-The College For Every Student (CFES) Program mission is to raise the academic aspirations and performance of underserved youth so they can prepare for, gain access to, and succeed in college.  The program focuses on 3 components: Mentoring, Leadership Through Community Service, and Pathways to College. It is a national program aimed at increasing the number of students pursuing college after graduation. 
 
Our goal as educators, is to begin the process of preparing students for higher education, NOW!
