Pivot International Donates 7,000 Shields to KCPS

Pivot International, a Lenexa, KS-based global leader in product design, development, and manufacturing, has partnered with Kansas City Public Schools to enhance maximal protection for students and staff with a gift of 7,000 safety shields.

About Nate Hogan

First elected in April 2019, Nate Hogan is a lifelong resident of the Kansas City metro region. Growing up, Mr. Hogan was a mobile student, attending eight different schools and had a significantly challenging home life. As a result, he understands at a personal level the emotional and social support needs of KCPS kids. Mr. Hogan currently leads a software business unit for Cerner Corporation and joins the school board with over 22 years of professional experience, with many of those years working for large corporations in a leadership capacity. He is a strong believer in being civically engaged and has served on several nonprofit boards in Kansas City. Mr. Hogan is married with two surviving sons.
