Pivot International Donates 7,000 Shields to KCPS

Pivot International, a Lenexa, KS-based global leader in product design, development, and manufacturing, has partnered with Kansas City Public Schools to enhance maximal protection for students and staff with a gift of 7,000 safety shields.

About Pattie Mansur

First elected in April 2014, Board Chair Pattie Mansur is currently a member-at-large. She received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism, News-Editorial from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Master’s of Business Administration, Marketing from the Bloch School of Business and Public Administration at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. As the current Communications and Health Policy Director for REACH Healthcare Foundation, a health philanthropy located in Merriam, Kansas, Ms. Mansur is dedicated to her community. She believes in the importance of a high-quality public school system that can serve all of a community’s children regardless of background and life circumstance. As a long-time Kansas City Public Schools parent, she has seen first-hand the success of KCPS and how we prepare our students for post-secondary education, career success, and civic life.
