On a Wednesday in early April, a class of second graders lined a hallway in Phillis Wheatley Elementary School, each student sitting with a volunteer.

We are now accepting nominations for DAC Executive Officers! Work in partnership with KCPS to improve our school district. To apply, please complete this form by May 3.

Parent University: Becoming Kindergarten Ready

• Tuesday, May 10, 6-7 p.m. – Register here to receive a Kindergarten Readiness Pack, which includes a Class of 2035 t-shirt, school swag, books and materials!

Please note that the Conscious Discipline for Parents/Caregivers of Toddlers and Preschoolers session previously scheduled for May 3 has been canceled.

Current KCPS Students Are Already Enrolled!

KCPS is fully accredited and enrolling for the 2022-23 school year! Current KCPS students will automatically “roll up” to the next grade, and no action is required from parents/guardians at this time.
