Apply Now for Signature Schools & FREE Pre-K!

Enrollment is now open for anyone interested in attending a KCPS Signature School or free pre-K next year! We have simplified this process for the 2023-24 school year and can’t wait to welcome new families to our district. If you know someone considering KCPS for their children, encourage them to visit EnrollKC.org today!

HOW TO ENROLL IN A SIGNATURE SCHOOL

  1. Log into your Infinite Campus parent portal account and click on the three lines at the top left of the page.
  2. Select “More”
  3. Select “School Choice”
  4. Make your selections. Rank schools by 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th choice. The order in which you rank them will be the order in which you will be offered a seat.
  5. Once you have chosen and ranked the schools of your choice, click “Submit.” The choices will move to “Currently Unavailable,” which means you’ve already made your selections.

Current families DO NOT need to re-enroll in their current school for the 2023-2024 school year. We will have more information for continuing families during the spring semester. Thank you for choosing KCPS!

Questions? Call 816-418-7505 or email admissions@kcpublicschools.org for help enrolling today!

Recognize an Outstanding Educator Today!

Help us celebrate exceptional educators in Kansas City Public Schools by nominating a special teacher to be the 2023 Teacher of the Year!

The purpose of the KCPS Teacher of the Year program is to recognize our extraordinary classroom teachers' contributions in every school. Teacher quality and effectiveness are the most important school-based factors impacting student learning. Our teachers create a learning environment where children flourish and grow.

Once nominations are submitted, principals will lead a Teacher of the Year selection process for their schools. We will name the 2023 Kansas City Public Schools Teacher of the Year at the awards ceremony in April! Special thanks to the Kansas City Public Schools Education Foundation for sponsoring this program.
