KCPS sold the former Greenwood site to Missouri Housing Partners (MHP), an affiliate of Fulson Housing Group, on July 28, 2022. A term of sale includes the execution of a Benefits Agreement by KCPS, MHP and the South Round Top Neighborhood Association (SRTNA), which includes the creation of two funds for neighborhood projects and home repairs. The SRTNA is the beneficiary of a grant administrated by LISC that will assist the neighborhood to develop project priorities/guidelines for each of the funds in 2022/2023.
MHP received an allocation of 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) in the Fall 2021 Round and anticipates commencing construction on the 3-story, 49-unit mixed income senior apartment development in April 2023.
