• AAA Recognition
Students are recognized for their positive contributions to the Hartman community. Achievement, Attendance, and Attitude

    Science Club
The Science Club is open to the older students interested in science. Children learn science through exciting hands-on activities. The science team competes in the spring at the annual Greater Kansas City Science and Engineering Fair at Union Station.

    Invitation-only Clubs
Students are carefully selected – and invited – to join special-interest clubs…Principal’s Roundtable, Hartman’s GEMS (girls), Hartman’s GENTS (boys), Book Club, Newspaper. Clubs are designed to offer our students something extra – above-and-beyond – daily academics. Clubs hold a great deal of status and all students strive to receive that special invitation to join.

    Kiwanis Terrific Kids
An assembly is held to provide recognition of students who demonstrate a positive attitude, good character, and responsible citizenship.

Watershed, Country Club Christian Church, and YouthFriends have been generous with the gift of time. The volunteers come to the school on a weekly basis to work with the students.

The LINC Caring Communities Before and After School Child Care program provides high-quality school-age care for all families in a safe, fun and caring environment that supports children's social, emotional, and physical development.
    Honor's Choir
The Honor's Choir is led by Lester Morris. The choir has 35 students. Students had to meet the following requirements: attitude, attendance, and achievement.
