    Pitcher Elementary

Pitcher Elementary School is the most eastern school in the Kansas City Public Schools. The building was built in 1989 with desegregation funds. It was built to accommodate the Classical Greek Theme with an Olympic size pool, track, and field.

In 2010 the staff and students from West Rock Creek Elementary merged with Pitcher. We have students enrolled from a vast variety of cultural, racial and ethnic backgrounds. It is the only site in the district that houses the Specific Language Impairment Classes formally know as Delayed Language.
