About Southeast

Over the years, the Southeast Knights and Ladies have built a tradition of honor and excellence, taking pride in their school and the city they call home. Southeast offers a comprehensive, competitive education environment in the city, with a full range of activities for students including high school sports, academic programs, cultural arts, along with numerous extracurricular activities. An integral part of the school is the African-Centered College Preparatory Academy (AC Prep). AC Prep uses a culturally relevant approach, for scholars to develop leadership skills, social responsibility and personal life skills. The program uses a rigorous curriculum ranging from 9-12th grade, which emphasizes college prep, world languages and cultural foundations of drumming, art, drama, music, theater and dance.
