About Northeast

Welcome to Viking Nation! We’re home to one of the most diverse student populations in KC and more than 50 languages spoken in our hallways. We focus on preparing our students by offering comprehensive academics, student services and extracurriculars. Preparing students for life after high school is our top priority. We make sure our students achieve their dreams with year-round ACT prep, college advising appointments and much more. The Northeast High School Alumni Association uses the dues and contributions of the alumni, businesses and the community to fund scholarships, contests and various other projects that enrich the lives of our students. Northeast offers a wide variety of services from KCPS and community partner programs to better educate our students.
