Pivot International Donates 7,000 Shields to KCPS

2020 Prep Football Season Starts Aug. 28

The 2020 prep football season starts this weekend across Kansas City Public Schools:

  • East High School hosts Van Horn High School, 6 p.m. kickoff, Friday, Aug. 28
  • Lincoln College Preparatory Academy hosts Benton High School, 6 p.m. kickoff, Friday, Aug. 28
  • Cameron High School hosts Northeast High School, 7 p.m. kickoff, Friday, Aug. 28
  • Central High School hosts Southeast High School, noon kickoff, Saturday, Aug. 29

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no fans will be allowed onto school property during any athletic events for the time being. The KCPS Athletic Department is working on a schedule to broadcast as many of these events as possible online. This will start with the Central v. Southeast game at noon on Saturday. Tune in by visiting the livestream page on YouTube. We will share more information about these athletic event broadcasts as soon as possible.
