Don't Wait Out in the Cold! Get SafeStop Bus App

With colder weather upon us, we all want to minimize the time that students are waiting outside at bus stops. SafeStop is a school bus tracking app that allows you to track your students’ buses using a map that lets you see exactly where your bus is along its route. It also provides expected arrival times for each stop, making it easier for you to quickly check when the bus will arrive and monitor your child’s route to and from school.

Getting started with SafeStop is easy:

  • Download the app
  • Select “Create Account”
  • Choose Missouri, then Kansas City Public Schools
  • Enter our district access code: 2021KCPS
  • If prompted, enter your student’s ID number
  • Set your notification preferences
  • Click “Submit” to complete your secure registration

We hope that this bus tracking tool makes mornings less stressful for your family. Our KCPS families already using SafeStop report that it’s working well for them!
