Raymond Weikal
King child and parent

The Kansas City Public Schools District Advisory Committee (DAC) will be hosting a virtual general body meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17.

DAC addresses school issues and concerns, allows you to share ideas and solve problems cooperatively and helps advise the district’s Board of Directors.

This month’s DAC meeting will feature the budgeting process for the upcoming fiscal year and Blueprint 2030, our planning and community engagement effort that will define how KCPS should serve students in the future and the system-level changes we need to get there. Your input and feedback on both the budget and Blueprint 2030 are critical to our future success.

Our schools can’t do it alone. We need the involvement and support of parents and guardians to succeed. We hope that you are able to join us! Visit for details about how to join the meeting.
