Kansas City Public Schools will host the first District Advisory Committee (DAC) virtual meeting of the new academic year from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16 via Zoom.

With the start of schools quickly approaching, it’s just about time for our first DAC general body meeting of the year! The DAC is primarily designed as an opportunity for KCPS parents to engage with the KCPS and our schools, but membership is open to any community members.

The committee addresses school issues and concerns, allows you to share ideas and solve problems cooperatively, and helps advise the district’s Board of Directors. Our schools can’t do it alone; we need your involvement and support to succeed.

At our first meeting, you will hear about helpful district and community resources, and have an opportunity to provide feedback and recommendations on how the school year is going so far and how the district can better support you.

Spanish interpretation will be available. Information about how to log in to the Zoom meeting is available online on our DAC webpage:

We look forward to seeing you virtually!
