Congratulations are in order for Mr. Kevin Hogan! Last week, Mr. Hogan was randomly chosen to win a free two-year lease at Two Light Luxury Apartments as a part of the Kansas City Power & Light District partnership with KCPSEF.

With cold and flu season upon us, KCPS has many resources for keeping your family healthy this fall. Remember, if your child is ill, please do not send them to school.

KCPS staff and community volunteers spent Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, distributing backpacks and school supplies to students. Together, we were able to pass out more than 4,500 backpacks! Check out the full photo album on Flickr.
 

A big THANK YOU to the KCPS staff and community volunteers who made this year's Summerfest a HUGE success! With your help, we were able to distribute more than 4,500 backpacks with school supplies!

Our partners also provided KCPS families with childhood immunizations, COVID-19 vaccines, sports physicals and health groceries at this one-stop back-to-school event.
