Six coaches and 24 student-athletes from KCPS are going to the FIFA World Cup!

Two boys and two girls from each high school soccer team will join their coaches at one of two matches happening right here in Kansas City: June 20th Ecuador vs Curaçao or June 27th Algeria vs Austria.

These deserving KCPS representatives are joined by 45 members of Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City. This opportunity is all thanks to the joint efforts of Airbnb and KC Mayor Pro-Tem Ryana Parks-Shaw, who wanted to be sure that local youth got a chance to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event in person.
