Lincoln College Prep student athlete Jada McGee has been selected to the MSHSAA student advisory committee for the 26-27 school year.
Jada was selected as 1 of 20 represenatives from the entire state of Missouri. She will serve the KC & St Louis region at large. She will meet with other representatives monthly via Zoom and represent Lincoln, KCPS, and student athletes at other conferences and in other important atheltic spaces.

Congratulations to Ms. Madison Hill, a Central Middle School student honored with the Kansas City Fire Department's Civilian Heroism Award! Last September, Madison witnessed a serious crash involving an SUV and a school bus. Without hesitation, she ran on board comfort the children, some of whom were injured. In the process, Madison sustained an injury of her own, showing a remarkable level of courage, compassion, and willingness to put others' needs ahead of her own safety.

Students had an amazing weekend at "Dream B1G" camp, hosted by Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy.
More than 350 kids in grades 3-8 got to experience mentorship and inspiration at the free camp, and we appreciate The Worthy 1's Foundation for demonstrating that anything's possible.

Welcome to Summer Academy 2026! The summer session offers extra opportunities for field trips, including trips to Deanna Rose Farmstead, Science City, and more. We can't wait to see what students learn beyond the four walls of their classrooms!
Despite the weather, the MSHSAA Class 4 & 5 has concluded. Lincoln Prep represented KCPS with speed and grace! The girls track team finished 5th in Class 4 with the boys finishing 19th.

Trailwoods Elementary celebrated the end of the school year with a Leadership Assembly. Students earned certificates for meeting or exceeding their academic goals and heard from KCPS' top leader—Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Collier! She answered their questions on what it means to be a leader and helped celebrate their accomplishments.
