Congratulations to Dr. Keyona Powell! She has been honored as the Greater Kansas City School Counselor Association's (GKCSCA) Director of School Counseling of the Year. The award is much deserved, as the panel received not just one, but two nominations for the award from her peers.

In parternship with Awesome Ambitions, a group of rising KCPS students visited Alabama for spring break. They explored colleges and toured historic sites, including Kelly Ingram Park, Tuskegee University, and the Rosa Parks Museum.
